Not sure about the era but I remember it was a woman doing the voice over and saying at the end “I think we’ll go for a nice brisk walk in the countryside this afternoon”

Hmmm.
Sounds a bit like the "Oh I have enjoyed our country walk" featuring Joe and Petunia.
It was one of a series of "Respect the country code" public information films from the 70s.

Nah wasn’t them, was live action rather than animated like joe and petunia
i think one of the closing shots was of the family out on the country walk and the son hand launching a toy glider
