Looks like a brand where the bread went mouldy within 48 hours.

They didn't do a Mighty Brown for the sake of comparison, did they?

I found it a bit "fluffy" for want of a better word.

Mighty White used to have a bit of product placement on Alf Roberts' Corner Shop wall in the late 1980s and early 1990s - do real life corner shops do that, I wonder?

I actually used to like Mighty White.
I suppose the closest thing to it these days is Kingsmill 50\50.
Unless someone knows something I don't......

I used to love Mighty White. Mother's Pride had a similar loaf called 'Champion' which I thought tasted better! It made tasty toast and I would buy it today if it was back on sale.

Parent bought it now and again back then....never really liked it. But I remember the seeds in it being chewy/bitey....ergh.

I remember my Mum used to by it a lot in the mid 1980's.

One of the boys in the advert looked a lot my Dad's friend's son.
