Ridiculous 80s H Samuel Ad!

Take a look a this bunch of ads from xmas 1985... About 1.12 mins in there is an ad for H Samuel - is it just me or does anyone else think that would have been more likely to scare people off H Samuel rather than make them want to go in?

the girl at the start of the Roses advert was the 'love interest/girl on the Woolies checkout' in Depeche Modes' video for 'See You'.....great song, great vid, always fancied her too!

What I like is the sound of total surprize/shock from the voice-over man from the Zodiac Toy shop ad:

"They've got Master's of the Universe!"

Like he's thinking, 'well that's a turn up, usually they just sell tat'
