I was just thinking about some of the biscuit ads from the past. My faves include The bloke with the guitar singing Blue riband blues. The United ads featuring Miles Offside and his family and also the one that went "my name is Stan and I'm a fan and I'm delighted to eat United". Then going back further, Cadbury Whistler advertised by the Kamikaze Coconuts and Angels trumpets advertised by the devil. They don't make em like they used to.

Re: Biscuit ads
Does anyone remember the McVitie's Fruit'n'Spice(?) ad where a man's sitting watching 'The Wolfman' or something with his wife, the plate of biccies are beside them as he tries to resist eating too many of them he turns into a werewolf, his wife slaps his hand as he reaches for another...I liked that one.

Re: Biscuit ads
I loved the Banjo advert.
Does this count as a biscuit?
May be pushing it a bit!

Re: Biscuit ads
As with Jaffa Cakes, when the boundary from biscuitdom is crossed is sometimes difficult to determine...
But in terms of musical adverts and jingles,
"if you want a lot of chocolate on your biscuit join our Club"
and "Drifter": "Give me the beat, boys, and free my soul...""It's never too late to have a happy childhood."
