I remember the "Treats...melt in your mouth, not in your hand" line from the TV adverts of decades ago.

The advert I remember is a woman behind a man on the seat of a pushbike, she is eating minstrels, he has a bright white t-shirt, he brakes suddenly and she puts her hand on his t-shirt, then there is a close up to show that she didn't leave a chocolate stain on his t-shirt with her hand.

Edit: that'll be the one then, posted at the same time!
Treets used the slogan in the 60s, yeh I am old and wise and was around then but for more info on this take a look at the wikipedia link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treets

Question, All because the lady loves................WHAT?

Depends what age you are. By the 1980's it wasn't used for Treets but it was used for Minstrels, so melt in your mouth not in you hand will only ever be Minstrels to me.

I'm pretty sure it was Treets that had that slogan.

That's cheeky. No wonder people get confused between Minstrels, Treets and M&Ms.

    Extra information may help,

TREATS were bought in a yellow packet like m&ms, they were like minstrals only bigger,

An advert i recall had someone give treats to a magician wearing white gloves, to show they didn't melt.

    The wording was something like

" smooth milk chocolate in a crisp candy coating " and

" Treats milk chocolates melt in your mouth not in your hand "
