The Craig films have been great (QoS excepted), they have stripped Bond to his original essence. I hate people who bemoan no gadgets and OTT villains, yet profess to be Bond fans. Real Bond fans welcome a return to Fleming's original agent.

Golden Eye. Only because I played the N64 game to death after.

                    Re: Favourite James Bond Films

I'm slighly biased in the fact that I loved the comedic aspect of Roger Moore's stint as 007 therefore I've got a bit of a soft spot for Moonraker. I know it comes pretty low on people's list of favourite Bond movies. The story might be OTT but the quips in that movie are fantastic.

                      I LOVE THAT ONE.

I LIKED ROGER FOR THE COMEDIC ASPECT TOO.

BUT THOUGHT HE DID A VERY GOOD JOB IN HIS TIME AS BOND.

Moonraker was intended by its creator IAN FLEMING to become a film even before he completed the NOVEL in 1954, since he based it on a screenplay manuscript he had written even earlier. The film's producers had originally intended to film For Your Eyes Only, but instead chose this title due to the rise of the science fiction genre in the wake of the STAR WARS phenomenon. Budgetary issues caused the film to be primarily shot in France, with locations also in Italy, Brazil, GUATEMALA and the United States. The soundstages ofPinewood Studios in England, traditionally used for the series, were only used by the special effects team.

Spectre was almost as good as Skyfall IMHO!

                                My Top 5 are...
                                On Her Majesty's Secret Service
                                Casino Royale
                                Goldfinger
                                The Spy Who Loved Me
                                Licence to Kill

I cannot tolerate the Brosnan era at all. He was so smug. You could smell the aftershave coming off him, and Die Another Day is the worst Bond film ever. Moonraker is the pits too, but it has a beautiful theme tune. One that I have a lot of time for that not many people mention is For Your Eyes Only.
