    Re: 80s Horrors

the 82 one is certainly the best.

also the first 3 freddy films.
    first one is very unnerving.

in the first freddyhe is just pure nasty no funnyness.

also two more very good horrors.
the uncanny and just before dawn both released in the eighties both pre certs.

the uncanny will give you an idea just how vicious cats can be.

just before dawn is set in a forest very dont go in the woods alone

That's another of the 'Killer Animals' movies i've got stashed away for whenever I get the time to do a film marathon.

                Two 80s seasonal classics.
Don't Open Till Christmas & Silent Night, Deadly Night.
Both classics as far as i'm concerned.

Yeah, that happened a lot with horror in the 80s, Bogeyman 2, Hills Have Eyes 2, e.t.c.
I agree that SNDN2 was terrible. Never gonna watch that one again.

watched 'The Church' (1988) tonight, nothing spectacular, frankly i expected more from Dario Argento.

Yeah, in my opinion, Argento's films were amazing until the mid 80s.
I think that Phenomena was his last good movie, although Opera had some great scenes within it, as a whole film it isn't up to much.
Anything after that isn't worth watching.
Unless i've missed something decent ?!?
What do you guys think ?
