film featuring giant spider in cave on tv 1980's

Hi Could anyone help? When I was a kid in the 80's I remember watching a film on tv. All I can remember is a man entering a cave and there was a giant spider in there. As far as I remember it was in colour. I was certain it was a scene from an Indiana Jones film, but have since realised it's not! I think it was an action film like that though. I'm pretty sure it wasn't a tarantula, or one of those B movies. It's hard to remember but I think the spider was black and tall, and there may have been pink smoke or colour in the cave, I could be completely wrong though! If anyone has any idea what this could be, please let me know as it's really bugging me! Thanks

It sounds like Krull, where there is a giant spider in some sort of mountain.
