Re: What Is Your Favourite Movie Soundtracks Of All Time
When it comes to film scores/ soundtracks this guy is pretty much the bench mark
Just look at the awards and films
hands down the best film music writer / composer ever

+Midnight Cowboy - the music playing while Jon Voights & Dustin Hoffman's characters are travelling on the coach
+ Starman - the music accompanying Karen Allen's character Jenny Hayden looking up with snowdrops falling at the departing spacecraft
There are others but those two come to mind

I've had the Pulp Fiction one too for years & really like it, along with the Jackie Brown soundtrack.Originally posted by akb48fan View PostI bought the Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction soundtracks years ago which are really cool with some excellent tracks on them.

Re: What Is Your Favourite Movie Soundtracks Of All Time
There has been so many, but for personal reasons and memories , I think it has to be Berlin with Top Gun. About the start of the 2000s (I'm unsure which year), I recall hearing the video on TV at a friends house and thinking "wow, this is like only yesterday since I heard this song" (as I'd not heard it in full for sure, if at all since about 1985).
Of course too Roy Orbison and Pretty Woman was an amazing soundtrack and song, as too Stand By Me (though I've forgot the film's name) and of course the more musical styled films like Grease (with many a great song in it) ad Dirty Dancing as well

Re: What Is Your Favourite Movie Soundtracks Of All Time
Don't seem to have a favorite.More like a collection of random film movie soundtracks I picked up somehow over the years from the movies themselves or from those movie soundtrack albums from the late 70's early part of the 80's that were sold off cheap everywhere.Everything from Jaws, star wars, Close encounters, Watership Down, Grease,Chariots of fire etc.
