Sean connery for me followed closely by Anthony hopkins, out of hundreds of films Sean probably made a handful of bad choices (see above)

its most probably because he brings in a bit of comedy and perhaps thats what the producers were after.

probably the worst possible choice to play q in the brosnan era bond films, i mean what were the producers thinking?.i mean you would'nt cast rowan attkinson in a bon...oh wait, he was in never say never again, damn!

I've only seen him in "Columbo", but Jack Cassidy was very good.

I agree Clare. Cassidy was a good character actor. I saw him in quite a bit other than Columbo. His suave good looks got him plenty of episodial work.
