Yup, as a kid I wanted to be Bill Murray when I grew up mainly due to his cool character in Ghostbusters. I also wanted to be Bruce Willis, wierd that I picked 2 dudes with receding hair, luckily something I still don't suffer with.
It's weird how as a kid you want to "be" someone else when you get older!
I remember see this film in the cinema! What was really good was it was our whole school was on an inset day (baker day back then) so it was in the afternoon and packed!!! What a film!
Remeber seeing the first fil when it came out - people turning up dress as ghosts. Many mothers getting very angry about all their white sheets disappearing and then turning up with two hole cut in them

Laugh and the world laughs with you. But do it all the time and they will lock you away.

Have to be my favourite films, although the terror dogs scared me when I was young. Also the bit in gb2 where the voice calls Winston in tunnel and the head appears, I used to fast forward that bit! I loved the cartoon, I was obsessed with everything gb and desperately wanted gb wallpaper, but being a girl I had pink flowers : /. I bought the old cartoon series a while ago, and unlike other cartoons, it's still as good as I remember! : )
Ghostbusters is the best film - and the first DVD I ever got. The fact Dan Aykroyd actually believes pretty much all the ghost stuff makes it even better!
Wonder if GB3 will (or should) rise from the grave??
