Re: Scariest movies
Also the movie "The Stuff" really freaked me out when I was a kid. Basically it was about people eating some new food called "the stuff" and then it ate its way out of them. I couldn't eat yogurt for the longest time after that. LOL

The old film arean't as bad as they seem, The Exorcist is laughable, as is Texas Chainsaw massacre, the classic horror film were probably more shocking int he 30's and 40's Frankenstein and dracula with Bela Lugosi, my 9 year old daugher watched Dracula on DVD and was scared. My first X rated horror fim i snuck into see was a double bill Dawn of the Dean and the Brood, Dawn was, is kool athe remake also, The Brood was kinda sick in parts too, did anyone else sneak in under age to watch films, or watch the videos?

ok not to downgrade your opinion mr. big, but I rented the amittyville horror the other night and it was so bad, I only watched about 35 min. of it. NOTHING like the original. I was disappointed

The omen was great until number 4 then it wasn't as good as the 1st 3. The amytville horror remake was really good. I liked the 1st howling. What about Alien series. They were all good IMOOriginally posted by feishi, what about the omen? the amytville horror, and the howling? they have to rank as the best, utter classics. the sequels give the first films a bad rep.
