70's or 80's animated movie with cats. HELP!!

I wish I had more information than that! I know it wasn't Felix the cat though. They style kind of reminds me of "Secret of Nimh" It was kind of grunge and serious. I think there were 2 movies made, not a series. I THINK they might have sang in it but I can't be 100 percent... This is driving me crazy and I've looked all over Google with no luck!! Help!!!
