T'uther day I was watching "Date Movie" which is universally agreed to be the greatest film of all time.
There was a moment when the hero held up a big, old-school, stereo-cassette player above his head, in a classic, eighties, trench-coat and sneakers spoof moment, at night in the street.
"Baby Come Back!"
what film was it?

Whoops, I got so lost in being a smarty-pants I forgot to tell you it was spoof-send-up scene.
I think it was originally an eighties brat-pack movie being sent up?

On the forum I found my infromation three people all said it was "Say Anything".
However one guy said it was a film called Night at the Roxbury...might be worth a look!

I watched the first 10 minutes of Date Movie on T.V the other night thats all I could stand it was so awful, far to ridiculous and over the top to be funny, but I dont enjoy movies like Aeroplane either

Yep, it's John Cusack in Say Anything. In that movie, the song playing on the stereo is Peter Gabriel's In Your Eyes. Classic scene from a classic movie.
