I'd love to see the first and last show in most of these iconic series, but a lot of episodes in between were pants

eg with Lost, I loved the 1st series; continued again with the 2nd series, by series 3 I was forgetting stuff from the earlier two series, and they kept saying 'answers are coming' in the trailers , but they weren't , since it only raised MORE questions grrrrrrrr
Well said. I got fed up of QL, Lost etc. Especially Lost in hindsight - I remember watching the final season and must admit it was all convoluted guff....As for QL, the very final episode really annoyed me when I originally saw it, I'd have liked a definitive ending to things like that, i.e. he finally went home, the end. Instead we got the 'never went home guff'.

He never went home?! . I never actually knew what happened in the end. What a disappointment!

As for Lost, I started watching it because of all the hype but lost interest after a couple of episodes. Zzzzzzzzzzzz

It was simply a caption before the end credits.

As mentioned above the show was cancelled late in the day so there wasn't a chance to even tack on an end scene.

My favorite episode is the one where Sam leaps into Roberto, a TV talk show host loosely modelled on Geraldo Rivera. The episode even subtly parodies Geraldo's Al Capone debacle when Sam discovers a secret chemical weapons lab and shows up the next day with a camera crew but the lab has been walled off and Sam/Roberto is trying to convince everybody that the chemical weapons lab is there.

                YET ANOTHER VERY GOOD SHOW.
ITS GREAT HOW THEY GO THRU TIME HELPING PEOPLE OUT.

SOMETIMES IT DOES NOT ALWAYS HAVE A HAPPY ENDING WHICH IS A GOOD THING MAKES IT MORE REALISTIC.

HAS BEEN ON TV A FEW TIMES IN THE LAST FEW YRS.
