I am trying to get a copy of 'One Hour to Zero' from CFF for a friend who lived near Trawnsfyndd at the time it was made and saw it at the local cinema, 'The Coliseum' in Porthmadog. It was shown to the locals because so many were in it! How did you get hold of your copy? Thanks. Glen

Hi, I was wondering if you would know if your N° 27 Hijack! (1975) is available in a format that I could watch? I was Jenny in the film and would love to see it. Sadly, in my research I see that James (one of the other children in the film) who became a Sky reporter committed suicide about 10 years ago. I hope you see this reply as it's been rather a long time since you added your comment! Thanks, Tracy

God, I remember James Forlong, I had no idea of the tragic death until now. I thought he had just moved on.

The problem (well problem to some maybe) with the recent cff bfi movie releases is that there is no reason why they cant put 6 films on each release with a 2pk dvd maybe, also there is normally one naff film thats put in with 2 decent ones. While its nice to look back at the black and white ones, i prefer the glitterball and electric eskimo era.

Looks like i will have to start buying the DVD'S. I used to love watching CFF films on CBBC back in the mid to late 80's, They called it "The Friday Film Special" I remember a film called Big Wheels and Sailor which had a Ford Transcontinental in it, only seen the film in full once but there is a 10 min clip on youtube. I would love to see it again in full.

There was another cff dvd released recently, it has sammys super tee shirt ....next dvd includes the boy who turned yellow, its on amazon at the moment.

For those that are interested, this has recently been released.
The DVD Includes: The Salvage Gang (1958), Operation Third Form (1966) & Night Ferry (1976).
It's the first release in a series, and all the films have been newly transferred.
Looks like an awesome buy to me, i'm gonna try to get my girlfriend to buy it for me for Christmas.

Hi guys. Found this thread as I'm looking for a copy of the flying sorcerer - cff production as my partner was one of the extras in the film and has never seen it. Part of it was filmed in Knebworth, that's where she was (in the background!) if anyone has a copy I could get hold of or knows where I could buy it, I'd be really grateful.
