unknown movie early 90s

well i watched this movie in mid 90s so it was probably captured in late 80s or early 90s. I was a small child when i saw it, all i remember is; about a married couple having a baby(or women is pregnant). One day thay have a meeting(possibly a meal) with his wife just before(or after) meal a car hit that guy and he died. Years passed dead guy come into world in a younger different body and see his wife married one of his friend(or they are planning a marriage), fell in love with his girl, who is almost same age with him they also married at the end of the movie.
i am looking for the title of this movie but no one ever heards about it, if anyone can help me i ll be so glad ...

I've got their version on a CD, & both were in Ally McBeal so I presume it was used in that as well.

It's "Chances Are" with Cybil Shepard and Robert Downey Jr. I watch it monthly
