I've not watched it yet, but after getting a card with this picture on in a Cards Against Humanity pack I feel I must watch Zardoz!

    XD

Hi Darren, it is currently on a certain video streaming site we are all so fond of . Actually, there seem to be 2 versions, 1 of which you have to sign in to view.

For Tery Gilliam, I go to Time Bandits, The Fisher King and Jabberwocky, not to mention Baron Munchausen

Ah yes, City of Lost Children and Delicatessen are both excellent!

The Terrornauts from 1967. Only saw this once. I was off school with a dreadful cold and ITV showed it one afternoon. A very strange film, particularly when you're feverish and dosed up with Night Nurse.

Robinson Crusoe On Mars - seemed to be on every holiday when I was a man-cub...

Chosen Survivors from 1974 about a group of people chosen to survive a nuclear attack, who find their shelter is also the home of a colony of vampire bats. This one is quite obscure.

First Men in the Moon from 1964, based on the H.G. Wells, about a Victorian-era voyage to the Moon.

This may have come up before...Journey to the far side of the Sun from 1970, a live action Gerry Anderson production.

I'm going to say Brazil which is an absolutely brilliant film. I guess a little too on the weird side to be mainstream despite the all star cast. I love it all the more because of it.

Incidentally, I watched Robowar on YouTube, complete with Chinese subtitles, but I see it's available free of charge for Amazon Prime subscribers, along with dozens of other dodgy B-movies!

I think calling it tenth-rate is really heaping too much praise on it. It is awful, but representative of the stuff coming out of Italy at the time. It is one of my guilty pleasures, though, as it makes me laugh every time I watch it, and it does star Captain America and the mighty Strike Commando himself, Reb Brown.
