"Theres somebody at the door" randomly popped into my head earlier lol! I know its from a kids tv show i used to watch years ago but i cant remember which one I keep thinking Emu, but i could be wrong.

It was emu's world from the 80's. I loved it! It was usually Grotbags at the door! Aaaaaahhhh! Lol.

I was a bit too old to appreciate the pink windmill days of Emu. Much better was EBC1 - Emu's Broadcasting Company in the '70s.

Emu's Pink Windmill show. Was it ever called that as well as Emu's World at some point as that seems to be what is in my mind. I know I watched this a lot but for the life of me I can't actually remember what went on in it. I thought Grotbags was fantastic and I remember the 'There's somebody at the door' but nothing else...????? Somebody jog my terrible memory!

Blimey that show has had umpteen names! Looks like the general transfer from Emu's World to Emu's Pink Windmill Show was 1984. Never realised it had run in its various forms for so many years. Good going for a kid's TV show.

Part of the Pink Windmill show was a quiz hosted by Grotbags, who would remove some 'brats' from the audience to be contestants.

At one point the contestants could gamble all the prizes for a mystery prize, which would normally be a "booby" prize such as half a tennis ball. Sometimes it was something half decent.
