Children's ITV show about Punks?

OK, my memory of this show is pretty vague but I'd be interested to know what it was... In the early 80s I remember a show on Children's ITV about a gang of youths, and one of them was a Punk with a large mohican haircut, which I think was dyed green. I can't seem to remember anything more specific than that, but the opening sequence began with a profile shot of the Punk guy facing a wall and knocking his head against it about three times.

I never got into the show properly as I was very young at the time and it was clearly aimed at older kids, so it would have been the final programme of the day shown on CITV. Anyone remember this show or know what it was called???

Definitely not Educating Marmalade I'm afraid, though I am a big fan of that show! Loved watching Marmalade when her show was repeated in the mid-80s and rediscovered the series a few years back.

The show I'm thinking of was definitely about a gang of kids or teens... It could have been CBBC but I very rarely watched that as a kid so I'm pretty sure it was CITV.
