"The boy with the smile" ?

There used to be this TV programme on CBBC in the 80s, some over-dubbed import from Europe or somewhere, all about a kid who had a great smile and this bad rich guy who was was trying to steal his smile! The bad guy was some rich guy always wearing black in a black car. It was weird!

Anyone remember what it was called???

Hated this show...my Mum loved it. West German programme and it was dubbed....found it odd the Baron couldn't smile....
