1970s TV Programme - childrens - very little to go on!

I remember a children's tv programme from the 70's - I can recall seeing one scene at least twice, but that's it!

This involved, I think, somebody or two people in a corridor outside a hall (?) with pillars - one or both go in and there is some sort of creature in there coming after them (in my mind this is the end of the episode). It's not from doctor who or the tomorrow people (although possibly had a 'minoyaur' type of theme) -

Does anyone have any ideas?

Not 'Into the Labyrinth' - much earlier than that - I would guess at early to mid 70's

Could be "The Tomorrow People" story "World's Away" - Episode 1... the Kulthan looked a bit Minotaur-y... the scene fits your description.
