70's childrens show about the crusades?

Hi all, my first time posting.
I remember a tv series, the usual bbc summer holidays sort of thing. I remember it being on the same sort of time as flashing blade. It may have been dubbed also.

I always remember it being called "The last Crusade" but that is possibly wrong.

Anyone remember it?

Dunno if this has ever been seen on UK TV. Could it be what you saw?

Is Thibaud the same show as Desert Crusader? Different name in translation, maybe? Or two different shows.

I don't really know tbh....all I do know is remembering watching it around 1971/2 and not ever knowing the name of the programme. Two years ago I came across Thibauld and knew instantly that was the show i used to watch.

Sorry few years late but I have just come across this post having just watched a film that made me think about 'The Flashing Blade" which then made me think of some programme called something like "The Crusades" so I found you digging around on Google. BBC Genome to the Rescue. Desert Crusader "An exciting new series about the adventures of Thibaud, the knight who always fights for justice and the truth" was shown on BBC in 1971, and repeated 1972/3
