        Re: Kojak

They repeat it on ITV 4 these days. I saw one recently, he went to Las Vegas and met.....LIBERACE! Couldn't stop laughing as it is corny. My parents watched it on and off but found it just as ridiculous, my Dad especially as he once said he say Kojak driving his big car with one hand on the wheel and the other holding a cup of hot coffee, he said, 'you'd get burnt if you did that for real'....My parents thought Telly Savalas basically copied Yul Bryner's bald head style all the way hence finding him corny...which he was.

Mind you, there was such a sexy actress in the ep I saw....however, shes probably very old now....

Didn't click on the link but i read about his ghostly encounter in a book
I don't see that he had any reason to lie .I believe in ghosts ,anyhow.
Put it this way, when my dad died in a nursing home 2 years ago the heavy glass cabinet in my mum's lounge room shook violently at around the same time.
It had never happened before and has never happened since. There was no earth tremor or anything that day so what made it shake like that?
We believe it was dad saying goodbye.

              Re: Kojak

I did get into watching this a few years ago when I was working part time & used to catch it in the afternoons.

The style seemed to wander between gritty & corny, sometimes over the same episode.

Kojak could sometimes could up with a risky gambit to solve a case, one that always seemed to just work out.

I've never seen Kojak but might start watching the re-runs. I love corny shows and with Liberace in an episode it's too good to miss! I do love ITV4. Out of work right now so it's a nice distraction to watch old shows. Enjoyed The Saint and The Fall Guy yesterday

For a week after my Dad died at the end of August last year I really felt his presence with me. Like he was beside me wherever I went. Then the feeling left. Never had that before. I believe in ghosts and the afterlife/reincarnation. Both of them in better places stud1al.

I believe the afterlife is real too. I say allegedly because I've heard over the years that Telly was a bit of a joker and according to some the details don't check out, according to others he was totally serious about it. Hope you got some comfort from your experience Stud1al.
