I don't remember this at all,althow I was driven mad by the much later 1980's? film which my sister watched over and over and over.

Never saw it but my mum use to call it me every time I had pigtails in my hair.

Mmmmm , maybe it was on a regional northern channel (living in Manchester at the time)............even my older sister doesn't remember it and I watched it with her!. She flicks her eyes and shakes her head whenever I bring it up

I only remember the cartoon series from the 90's. never realised it was based on older shows.
