Re: T V Shows you have never seen
The Max Headroom Show. I watched five minutes of this, seemed total rubbish. It seemed to be popular with the yuppie type.

Re: T V Shows you have never seen
Because I only got cable TV in 2000 (my late mother had the chance to have it a few years earlier when ntl installed the telephone service because it was cheaper than BT, but turned it down because she didn't watch too much television), most of the programmes only seen on cable and satellite channels I had never seen would come into this category. I used to get that Cult TV magazine and 95% of the programmes mentioned were either on satellite or cable, or in ITV regions that were too far away to be picked up on our aerial on the roof.
I was thinking about cheating here and mentioning a list of regional programmes that were only shown outside the Central and Yorkshire regions, which I have never seen for obvious reasons.
EastEnders is one programme because I cannot stand, hence the fact that I never watched - far too London-centric for my liking.

I've never bothered with Gavin & Stacey despite everybody I know saying it's supposed to be great. I refuse to watch it because I cannot stand James Corden.

Me too ... never watched it, dont know why just passed me by I've also probably only seen a handful of episodes of Corrie again not sure why because when I make the effort I actually quite like Eastenders so its not a soap thing .....Originally posted by Sly View PostHe had that air about him, the waxy old cardigan wearing guy with the stoop and the snide nasally voice.
Here's one for you, I never ever watched 1 minute of Brookside. I don't even know what it was about, beside it being a soap.
though I was a fan of Eldorado

Re: T V Shows you have never seen
Hi roz.
yeah im not a fan of brit shows since 2000.
Same with american shows as well mate.
never seen or heard of 3D rock.
same with rules of engagement, everyone hates chris never seen any of these.
Originally posted by Roz View PostAt least you did try to watch some Darren, but if it's not for you then fair enough.
My Dad hated anything American but I got him into Frasier and The Simpsons and now he's also watching stuff like 30 Rock and Modern Family.
If you don't fancy something though it's tough to change your mind set. I'm not a big fan of recent British comedies or dramas (although I've been watching Mr Selfridge) - I do give them a chance but find I prefer older stuff like The Sweeney, The Professionals, Rising Damp etc..
There's usually something for everyone though

I didn't watch anything in with Leonard Rossiter. I couldn't stand him in the bits of Rising Damp I caught.
