Can you remember this Kids 80's TV programme and end my long search???

Hi all,

Any help or thoughts would be much appreciated has I can't for the life of me remember the name of this one and random searches on you tube have proven unsuccessful...

In the 80's I remember watching a Kids TV Drama series.

I believe the main character was a girl and there was some kind of magic or wishes she summoned up somehow to make things happen.

I seem to recall it being set in the grounds of a mansion or large gardens and the one episode that sticks in my mind was:

The main character setting up a little play to perform inside what I think was an old derelict gate house but not happy with the lack of an audience, they stuffed and made up full sized dolls so they could perform to these but after the magic or wish was made, these stuffed figures came to life.

Ring any bells with anyone??

Sounds like "The Enchanted Castle" and the dummies were called Ugly Wugglies

It sounds pretty damn close to what I'm after although the name isn't ringing any bells and sadly you tube offers no visuals. It does sound like the likely candidate though and was on a similar par with the likes of 'Moondial' and 'The Amazing Mr Blundell'.

I will continue my search to find videos, dvds or even online footage to make that positive and definite ID however many thnaks for providing the title.

Although after reading on this site: http://found0bjects.blogspot.co.uk/2...-bbc-1979.html it sounds like I'm not the only one searching for this but the descripton sounds very familiar...

I know the show. There was a magic ring that allowed them to make the wishes. But they later found that they had to set a time limit on the wish or things would turn out badly.

They wished that the audience was real people and they came to life. Nobody else seemed to find it odd that they still looked like scarecrows. When they reversed the spell the "people" disappeared which caused missing persons reports.
