BBC TV Kids Prog Name??

This is really vague, but I remember seeing a show that was split into parts, on BBC (kids) , it was live action, I think it was foreign, may have been dubbed, and I seem to remember it being on just before Captain Pugwash. It may also have been about a spy set in the early part of the 20th century.

I know it's not a lot to go on, but can anyone remember the name, or the program I'm on about??

YEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS, That's definately it. 100% right. Pity it's in Czech, just got to find a way to get subs for it.
