American sitcom about a hotel in New York

trying to remember a show that my parents watched for a short while in about 1990 or so, it was about a hotel in New York, and i remember one episode had a woman that worked in the hotel out on a ledge on the side of the building looking in fear at the traffic below.

nah that looks too old to be it, watched some clips on youtube and pretty sure that's not it, it was definitely a comedy.

I am certain that there was a Disney series that sounds like that which was only shown on the Disney channel in Britain.
