Epic is sometimes a word overused but this show is Epic to the max. Set in the days when people sailed the world to conquer, seek fortunes and discover new lands we follow the adventures of Esteban, Zia and Tao as they travel around the globe on quests to find the Mysterious Cities of Gold and Esteban’s father.

this really was and still is a superb show.
i love anything based on this cartoons idea.

I really like the original series when it was originally on, even if it seemed to run for ages. The repeat in 1989 was twice a week that made things easier.

There seemed to be a lot of series in the 1980s that were French or Spanish written but animated in Japan.
