Does anyone recall this series, broadcast in the late '70s? I think it was set in what used to be the REAL London East End docklands (not the Yuppie rubbish they built in the '80s)- I never watched it much, but it seemed to be about a young lad who lived on a Thames barge- the opening credits gave the impression that it was a lighthearted thing, but from what I saw of the series it was anything but- the chap seemed to get embroiled in criminal activities, was threatened, and it ended up being more of a crime thriller than anything else.
Can anyone tell me what it was about, and what the plotline was?
