80's children's tv, yellow/glowing stones??

Hello.. I have been trying to find out the name of a programme about a couple of kids with glowing stones and what you described Adrienne sounds like the one I am thinking off... I only remember 2 teenage kids (boy and girl - she had long black hair) looking for stones and they find a glowing rugby shaped stone (yellow?) ina dark alcove or cave......I have checked the other programmes mentioned in this thread https://forums.doyouremember.co.uk/t...glowing+stones but it is not what i recall. This is the show I believe I'm looking for - I remember it being very spooky.
I can recall a man gives a stone to a boy, and another stone to a girl. The stones begin to glow, and they must hold onto them (in their palms) and never must let them go (for some reason). It appears that the stones are hot or at least uncomfortable for them to hold onto. At one point one of them drops one of the stones, and the man get really upset at them.

I also remember that there was a man dressed in a suit who walked into the sea and swam along like a dolphin (hands by his side and kind of diving in over and over to propel himself). The he eventually swam down into what I think was a spaceship underwater.

any chance its Life Force starring Samia Ghadie? It was short lived and cancelled half way through due to being to scary.

Samia recently appeared on the tv show 'you saw them here first, there's a short clip on there, you should find it on tv catch up

Sadly that's mentions in the linked thread which the OP said they had checked through, but it does sound very much like Under the Mountain to me too. I suggested it on that thread
