Help naming an early 1990's CBBC show set on a canal waterway.

Sometime during the late 1980's / early 1990's on what i believe was CBBC there was a programme where kids who lived in a lock keeper's cottage or next to a canal waterway and they had various adventures involving the canals. It was live action and not a puppet show like Rosie and Jim or Joshua Jones.

Can anyone remember the name of this show or what it was all about?
