    Do you remember Emu's world, based in a windmill,Rod Hull and Emu,verses Grottbags. Did grottbags have a side kick??? I loved grottbags,found emu a little scarey though.

    Pinkwindmill I think it was called. My kids loved it.... there's somebody at the door!!!

        Her sidekicks were a crocodile called Croc and a robot butler called Robot Redford lol

            She did yes,I think she shared a flat with two puppets or something,Emu's world came first, then the pinkwindmill,the grotbags spin off show, I remember hating her calling kids, those "orrible Brats" and now I remember croc, he was kind of sweet!

                i read somewhere today that she still does pantomines as"grotbags", and she#s a recording artist to.

                  Slightly too old for Pink Windmill,but Rod Hull was never off the TV in the late 70's.I always found him quite sinister
                  I too found some links to "Grotbags" singing career,but not sure its the same woman.

                  but I like the 'Robot Redford' thing, possibly Rod Hull's best joke

                      oh i dont know i can hear her now with the boomtown"Brats" lol, the actresses real name is Carol Lee Scott.

                          Did anyone else read that the Bird is back?? Apparently Rod Hull's son Toby is taking up the partnership and a new series starts on ITV1 in October !!

                              She lives down here in Somerset, or she used to. Her house overlooks Hawkridge Reservoir in the Quantock Hills.
