Mork and Mindy

Mork and Mindy I cant recall that much about it apart from the plant Org and Mork saying "nano nano"??? I can remember I loved watching it , but i must have been quite young, as thats all I remember.
What do you recall about it?

He used to drink through his fingers and "Shazbot" was one of his expletives.

Well Mork came from Ork, and was in Happy Days firstly before going onto have his own series with the lovely Mindy.


Mork's greeting was "Na-Nu Na-Nu" (sounds like Nah-Noo Nah-Noo) along with a hand gesture similar to Mr. Spock's Vulcan salute from Star Trek. It became a popular catchphrase at the time.

I knew there was a hand gesture, but I did indeed think I was mixing it up with mr spocks!!

In one of the episodes there was a character called Mr. W*nker.

In America ( at the time) it didnt mean the same as it did here, - just someone who was a bit stupid.

Anyway, when it was broadcast here, they didnt realise about the character and it was broadcast at about 5pm on a saturday with loads of children watching.
Remember ITV getting in trouble.
