Early 90’s Year 2 Ollie?

Hi,
I have searched high and low for a programme I believe I was shown at school in the early 90’s I think we had a book to go with the programme, all I can remember is this orange creature that looked scaley with big eyes and I don’t know why the name Ollie keeps coming to me but I could be making it up, sorry it’s a bit vague but it’s been driving me crazy for so long and I have stumbled upon this site so just wondered if anyone could help?!
