Cartoon alligator???

Ok I've been at it again, going to bed and remembering things,can anyone remember a cartoon with an alligator,He stood up on his hind legs,and spent most of the time on land not in the water,I think he may have worn a hat and maybe a collar and tie. I think there may of been a zoo keeper.( could be mixing that up with yogi and the ranger)The phrase see you later alligator springs to mind,think it may be how the cartoon ended.any ideas?

They had all the greats..Squiddly Diddly,Secret Squirrel and Morocco Mole,Snagglepuss,etc..every one a star!
