Does anyone remember marine boy ???? who used to chew 'Oxygum', which gave him oxygen while underwater I guess.

And Stingray with 'Maria', I used 2 think she was rather beautiful 4 a puppet!!

Strangely enough there was a song they used to sing with the program and I remember it as "Maria" or am I thinking of another program??

Marine Boy was my favourite show when it was first on the beeb in the late 60s when I was 6-7. Splasher, the P1 and Oxygum. It must have been the late 80s before I found someone else who'd heard of it.

Most kids cite Battle of the Planets as their first Japanese animation show but for me it was nearly 10 years earlier.
