Please help!!!

Does any1 remember the childrens show about green (i think) creature who used to plant seeds in little pots and put them in a door in a tree and it would grow strange plants? (if my memory is right!) Really would appreciate any help on this as my sister thinks i have gone mad!!!

Lol I remember green claws, and the owl in the tree twoo, twoo, twit, twit twoo. The school girl in it looked more like my age now though lol.
