New pilot show-Metal Mickey

I've just read they are making a new pilot show of Metal Mickey. I loved the show as a young child, first time around, but not sure what todays kids will make of it
Also I seem to remember a Granny in it called either "Bootlaces" or "bootstrap" is this right?

I believe the origional was directed by Mickey Dolenz of the Monkees fame.

I hope they get someone equally as crackers as him to do the remake :-)

I too loved Metal Mickey at the time. I don't think it will really work now though.
