A Very Peculiar Practice

Caught this on Sunday on Sky Arts, it was a comedy drama sort of thing from 1986 on BBC2 starring Peter Davison about a doctor who becomes a doctor on a university campus. Every so often 2 nuns walk across the scene for no apparent reason

Anyone remember it?

Still not sure I watched it, even after watching a few clips!!! Peter Davison seens to have done a few "doctor/vet series!

Actually looking at the clip, he wan't that bad looking, but at the time i thought he was a right old man!!

Yeah when i saw it on Sunday I thought he looked quite young, just looked him up he was only 35 when he did that, so he was young then.

An absolutely cracking series. BBC2 on a Wednesday if I remember correctly. Only matched on that night by Carl Sagan in Cosmos

Great series by Andrew Davies. It's available on DVD, and it was the program that inspired me to want to go to university...

i do remember watching this a superb show.

Remember this as a kid.

I also remember it being a little bit 'racey' for my age.
