does anyone remember a drama series in the early 80's possibly late 70's it was set in a country house there were two brothers the younger one is very keen on aircraft and the older one was a nasty piece of work. They grew up with a girl who grew in love with the younger brother who went off to war and was killed she then married the older brother . i remember one episode where he took her fox hunting and the foxes blood was rubbed on her forehead. I just can't remember the vital bit 'The Title' please help

This is ringing bells !! I can't put my finger on it - but one series comes to mind, it couldn't have been one of the story lines in A Family at War could it ??
