Kids tv series

It’s been driving me crazy over the last few years trying to remember this mini series.
it was shown either late 80’s to mid 90’s.

it was about Vikings, they raided, I guess Britain and took a boy/teenager as a slave. He arrives at his new home and he has adventures with a Viking teenager.
driving me nuts as I can’t remember what it was called or how it ended.

can anyone help?

Was it a cartoon series? If it was, the only kids' TV series I can think of was Vicky the Viking which was seen in the 1980s and early 1990s. It was about a boy called Vicky (presumably short for Victor) who was a viking.

No idea but by the description I'd definitely want to see it! Just got the Raven series on DVD from Network... with that actor from Quadrophenia.
