Mid/late 80's Aussie series help.

Hi

It was on British childrens TV at about 17:00 once or a couple of times a week - didn't run that long. Period stuff set in Australia during the gold rush. All I can really remember is one of the kids (the trouble maker) had a catapult which he used to get in trouble for using.

Anyone remember what it was called?

Can't find a picture of the fat kid with the catapult which would confirm it for me. I don't really remember any of the adults, but I did end up with a catapult after watching it.

There was a second series

The first series of Rush was not repeated after colour television became well and truly established in the mid-to-late 1970's, however the second series was re-screened fairly regularly until the mid-1980's, sometimes in prime time slots. The first series gained prominence again in the 1990's

It must be it, pity there is no archive footage anywhere. My 4 hours of Googling (4 hours i'll never get back) made me consider this http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0086714/ but I don't remember it being Disneyfied. Thanks for the help.
