Does anyone remember a duck cartoon?

I have no idea what this programme was called but i am sure it was on, on a saturday or sunday morning at about 7.30am about 1986 - 87, and it was a cartoon about a duck and its family, the beginning showed you the baby duck being put to bed by mother duck, and i really want to know what it was called! Help anyone?

No it wasn't Gideon, i remember the duck crying or being sad when he was put to bed though?

Ducked if I know

only other ducks I know are calimero (actually a chicken),duck tales,darkwing duck,duckman and Count Duckula

I think the cartoon you are talking about was called "Will Quack Quack" I think it was Welsh and narrated by Nerys Hughes.
