Help identifying an early C4 production

I remember enjoying a production on TV that I’m sure was broadcast on C4 in its very early days, may have even been in the first week.it was about a young girl going to work and living in a hotel/ guesthouse .
I recall a scene where the chef , who was also live-in, would sleepwalk totally naked and stand by the maids beds . The maid was initially terrified but soon got used to it as it happened so often
