I don't expect anyone to feel the same way, but the Please Sir! film is my favourite flick of all-time.
It never fails to make me feel better. Frankie Abbott (whilst being convinced that he could be a werewolf) uttering something to the effect of "yeah, get tarts up me belfry" and also threatening to kick his mum's varicose veins if she won't let him go on the school trip, always makes me smile.
Years ago an old work colleague went to a friend's party and also in attendance was Malcolm Mcfee who played Craven in Please Sir. My colleague's opening line was "Alright Craven"! He chatted to my colleague for ages and came across as a funny down to earth sort of guy. I was surprised to find out not too long ago that Malcolm sadly died in 2001.
Wil mentioned that the Please Sir film was one of his favourites and I would certainly agree on that one!
