Am I going mad?!
How happy am I to have found this site. I have been commenting about a show I remember but no one else seems to know it. I am sure I remember it but as I would have been between the ages of 5 and 10 when it was on I could be confusing a few shows together.
It was an 80's show and set in that time. I seem to think it was a family living abroad possibly France in a rural location. I cant quite remember all the characters but I have visions of a large old man with white hair and beard. I would say it was a drama but always had comedy running through it. I do also remember a bird that was black like a crow that possibly some how used to always drop the old man in it. This leads to also ponder if it was actually something like a Minor(sp?) bird that could repeat sentences...
Some people have said to me am I confusing Allo Allo with The Darling Buds and Pie in the sky but I believe I can remember these shows - or is it just from a single episode in one of these shows?!
If anyone has any thoughts I would love to know them....
