I'm not sure if this has already been mentioned somewhere in this forum, but I've been trying to remember the name of a puppet-type show for years now.
I remember hiring it out on video in the early to mid 90s. There were animal puppets (on strings, I think) and they lived in a country-type setting. The ground and hills were made of material and were soft and fluffy looking. The shows were narrated by an old-woman (I can't remember if she was a puppet or not). I seem to remember a lamb called Lacey and a rabbit, and one episode had the rabbit making a stew and needing carrots.
I'm really not explaining it too well
It wasn't a cartoon, and it wasn't Lamb Chops/The Muppets/Fraggle Rock/HR Puffinstuff/etc. I seem to have the name "The Land of Cotton and Lace" in my head, but Google can't find anything.
Help?
