Name of a 70's Sunday morning kids' TV program ?

I think it was on about 11ish on Sunday mornings on BBC1 in the mid 70's. It was, if I remember correctly set among Canadian trappers/loggers - there were a few beards/lumberjack jackets and a couple of kids in it as was. Really awful - nothing seemed to happen in it. Hated it at the time but it was all there was on the box. Probably a French/Canadian production.

Brings back memories of 'School tomorrow. I'll just watch this even though it's rubbish to put off doing my homework.'
